Cooperation on turbocharger digitalisation
Two German firms, AVAT and KBB, are to work together to improve turbocharger technology which has dramatic potential for improving the fuel efficiency of internal combustion engines. Turbocharging optimisation is the main mechanism through which mature modern engine technology continues to achieve incremental efficiency improvements, leveraging expertise in computational fluid dynamics and materials science, the companies said.
