Substantial sludge reduction
OIL FILTERS | The production of undesired sludge increases a vessel’s operating cost considerably. It has to be stored properly on board, and removal is only possible in harbours at a high price. According to the Danish manufacturer C.C. Jensen AS, the problem was significantly reduced on board various vessels by installing its CJC oil filter as a replacement for centrifuges.
