Damen launches naval support ship range
Damen Shipyards Group has unveiled a new class of naval support vessels. The Logistics Support Ship (LSS) series has been designed to extend the operational reach and sustained deployment of naval forces. There are two vessel types in the LSS series – the 127m-long LSS 9000 and the 140m-long LSS 11000. The vessels will enable the efficient transport and transfer of fuel, munitions, provisions, personnel, spares and stores.
