Capital’s new Suezmax tankers to use shore power
Six new 155,000dwt tankers currently under construction and due for delivery to Greek tanker owner Capital Ship Management Corp, will be able to use shore power connections at the Port of Long Beach as soon as they are commissioned between now and 2027. In what it claimed to be the first tanker onshore power supply Compatibility Assessment, the Greek shipowner has worked with Lloyd’s Register (LR) to make sure that the Suezmax tankers
