Prosperous times ahead for shipyards
MARINE INDUSTRY Singapore is one of the world’s premier ship repair centres and a world leader in the conversion of floating production, storage and offloading (FPSO) and floating storage and offloading (FSO) units as well as the building of specialised offshore vessels. The marine industry has quickly recovered from the global economic downturn and was also able to secure some important orders for the current year.
