New rules, notations and guidance on propulsion loss
bureau Veritas | The classification society Bureau Veritas has published new rules for the classification of offshore service vessels and tugs, and new notations for pipe-layers, accommodation units, offshore construction vessels and offshore support vessels. The rules, which entered force at the beginning of July, are set out in a new booklet which is now part of the society’s Rules for the Classification of Steel Ships.
