Hydrogen fuel ‘a viable solution’
, has been extended by partners FRS Windcat Offshore Logistics, an offshore logistics operator, and 50Hertz Transmission, an electricity grid operator. The vessel is Germany’s first hydrogen-powered dual-fuel crew transfer vessel and will continue to operate with power from 50Hertz Transmission, serving various offshore wind farms in the German Baltic Sea.
