Environmentally acceptable lubricants required
VGP New requirements on substances acceptable for discharge by ships in US waters come into effect in December 2013. The revised Vessel General Permit (VGP) issued by the US Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) identifies “environmentally acceptable lubricants” (EALs).
