Pay-as-you-sail electronic navigational charts
PAYS The introduction of advanced integrated navigation systems, such as Electronic Chart Display and Information Systems (ECDIS) utilising electronic navigational charts, has changed onboard operational procedures and competence requirements for navigators. As regulations and technology evolve, so does the way that chart distribution and licensing are organised.
