Robotised rig in the Arctic
DRILLING TECHNOLOGY | Seabed Rig AS, a Norwegian drilling company, has developed a fully automated rig that will be able to carry out drilling in the Arctic and in deepwater. Once the rig is constructed, it will weigh 260 tonnes and be able to drill to a depth of up to 3,000m.
