Floating wind developer ties up with cable manufacturer
Barcelona-based X1 Wind has signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with FibreMax, a Netherlands cable and mooring line manufacturer, to raise efficiency and boost sustainability in the floating wind energy sector. The introduction of synthetic cables will boost performance and sustainability by improving strength and durability, reducing weight, and preventing creep.
