Clean waterway strategy adopted
Abu Dhabi Maritime, part of the AD Ports Group, in collaboration with the Ministry of Municipalities and Transport, has signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with Tadweer, Abu Dhabi Waste Management Company, to promote the protection of the Emirate’s waterways. Under the terms of the MoU, Abu Dhabi Maritime and Tadweer will set up a framework for exploring joint opportunities to keep Abu Dhabi’s waterways safe, clean, and free from debris and obstructions. Abu Dhabi Maritime’s managing director, Captain Saif Al Mheiri, commented: “We are extremely pleased to be collaborating with Tadweer in this effort to establish best-in-class safety and cleanliness of Abu Dhabi’s waterways....
