Report calls for rapid action to reach 2030 fuel ambition
A new report warns that time is running out for international shipping to meet the IMO’s recently revised target of achieving at least 5% – striving for 10% – uptake of zero or near-zero greenhouse gas (GHG) emission fuels by 2030. The report, compiled by UMAS, Getting to Zero Coalition, and Race to Zero, warns that the window of opportunity will close soon and rapid action is required from the industry.
