Vessel concept to reduce costs and carbon emissions
OFFSHORE MAINTENANCE | The Anglo-Dutch company Offshore Ship Designers (OSD) has launched a new offshore wind-farm maintenance vessel (WMV) concept reported to improve the uptime of deepwater wind turbines, and reduce maintenance costs and carbon emissions, while solving the logistics problem of carrying out simultaneous multiple wind turbine maintenance.
