WinGD signs MoU on dual-fuel ammonia engines
Switzerland’s WinGD has signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with Seoul-based KSS Line, a gas and chemicals shipping specialist, to assess opportunities for X-DF-A dual-fuel ammonia engines on new mid-size and large gas carriers. The companies will also consider performance and maintenance requirements for engines using the new fuel. The MoU also includes a commitment from WinGD to provide crew training on the new engines.
