Joint development of ESS
Vancouver-based battery technology specialist, Sterling PlanB, and the International Contract Engineering (ICE) design group, headquartered in the Isle of Man, have signed a cooperation agreement to work on energy storage system (ESS) development and take-up of the technology in shipping. In a statement, the companies declared that their unique combination of complementary understanding and experience should provide an optimised and integrated route for adopting ESS.
