Stand C01-04b At Nor-Shipping, the Hamburg-based company will be presenting a wide range of innovative and sustainable products from the areas of manoeuvring technology, energy-saving and LNG technologies as well as the new battery systems business segment. When it comes to saving energy while lowering cost, Becker Marine Systems is perfectly positioned with its core products, versatile high-performance rudders as well as the Becker Mewis Duct® and Becker Mewis Duct® Twisted energy-saving devices. Furthermore, the company is focusing on the use of LNG as fuel and, in addition to the LNG hybrid barge for supplying power to cruise ships lying at port, it will be presenting the modular LNG PowerPac®, developed to supply power to container ships. Becker will also be showing its COBRA Compact Battery Rack system, which is economical, compact and easy to install on board. Initial orders have already been placed for this technology based on lithium-ion cells.
