Hybrid-powered expedition ship launched
Hurtigruten | The Roald Amundsen , one of two hybrid-powered polar-class newbuildings for expedition cruise operator Hurtigruten has been launched in a ceremony at building yard Kleven in Ulsteinvik, Norway. The vessel will join the fleet this summer, while its sister ship, Fridtjof Nansen will be handed over in July 2019.
